~~ Part 2 ~~

Buffy motioned for Wesley to move into the rafters, to keep a lookout for Angelus. She could feel the Beast; her new senses telling her how his mind worked, how he fought and most importantly how to kill him. She grinned to herself. How stupid is this one? It created the only weapon that can kill it. She started to move forward, then stopped when she saw him - Angelus. She saw the evil that filled his animated corpse, remembering the past when she couldn't separate this creature from the man she loved. The man she believed buried inside the manic vampire. This time she didn't feel anything, but a need to slay the evil that stood only a few yards away from her.

She watched him swagger up to the Beast, not surprised that the rock monster and the bloodthirsty vampire knew each other - like went to like. After a few words, Angelus attacked only to be swatted away like a lowly minion. Buffy bit inside her cheek to keep from laughing, and Wesley found himself in the same predicament. Before Angelus could get back up, she stepped forward.

"How about someone who can give you a real work out?"

"Slayer!"

Cordy stiffened, something was wrong. She needed Fred to leave so she could find out what was happening. Falling back on the bed, she forced her eyes to turn white as a scream tore from her lips. Fred grabbed the larger woman, afraid that she would hurt herself. Once, Cordy stilled, she jumped off the bed unmindful of the breaking glass. Cordelia's fist clinched in anger, she would take out the scrawny nerd first.

"Gunn, you guys, come quick. I think that Cordy's having a seizure," Fred yelled from the doorway.

Go get them Twiggy; I have to check on my boy. Damn it, here they come. She put a hand over her face to hide the anger lurking behind her eyes.

"Cordykins, are you okay?" Lorne wished he could still read auras, something told him that he needed his gift in a major way.

"I think it was a vision, Lorne, but it was just pieces. Maybe if everyone left and I tried to relax it will come back." Cordelia gave the green demon her best smile.

"You shouldn't be alone, Cordy. I'll stay with you." Connor walked over and sat on the bed next to her.

The others exchanged shocked looks. Connor seemed right at home in Cordelia's bed.

Cordelia sighed. "Fine Connor can stay, but I need to rest. The vision could tell us how to find Angel's soul." She smiled weakly, leaning into Connor. They AI team reluctantly left the room, unsure what was happening.

"You are going to die, Slayer."

"Yeah, yeah, been there got the T-shirt. Are we going to fight or not? You wouldn't be scared of little ole me would you, Rocky?"

Wesley grinned at her confidence. The way she used words as well as fists and feet. He never understood that before. Watching her now and after everything he experienced the last few years, he saw the simplicity of her strategy. Why had they all treated her as if she didn't have a brain in her head?

The Beast swung a huge fist at her, Buffy simple moved her head out of the way. He stomped forward, and that's when she saw what he was guarding, the very thing that would kill him. She gave him a perky smile, then ran straight at him, going up and over the large red beast and landing directly behind him. The Beast turned to see where she went at the exact moment the knife made from his own impenetrable hide entered his heart. He exploded in a flash of red light and was no more.

Wesley split his time between watching Buffy easily take out the creature that almost killed them and Angelus. He saw a smoky cloud float around the Scourge of Europe's body before it settled over him. A conversation he had with Wo Pang came back to him and Wesley grinned. He had the shaman put a fail-safe on the jar. Angel's soul would return to his body, no spell, no ceremony and most of all no need for Angel to be anywhere near the soul itself. It would find him rather than being lost in the ether.

Angelus fought with everything he had to keep the soul from entering his body. He didn't want to be chained inside the insipid souled-one again. He looked up and there she stood in all her golden glory. Angelus smirked; at least he could ruin this for the pathetic fool who would control his body.

"He doesn't love you anymore. He moved on to the chesty wonder, wanted something he could sink his claws into, if you know what I mean, but I doubt you do." He felt the soul seeping into every pour and knew he didn't have much time.

"As if I care, I mean have you looked in a mirror lately, oops my bad. Hate to tell you this Angelus, LA has not been good to you. You're not a beefcake anymore, just beefy and not in a good way. Think Anna Nicole before Trim Spa Baby."

He roared coming to his feet to tower over her. She should be heartbroken. There was nothing he liked more than her tears, well almost nothing. He screamed and his eyes flashed red as his soul returned to his body.

"Buffy, what are you doing here? You shouldn't be here, it's too dangerous."

She looked at him, rolling her eyes and without saying another word decked him. His body flew back into the crates lined up against the back wall. A pair of arms wrapped around her trim waist and she leaned back into Wesley's body. She turned in his arms and gave him an innocent smile. "If I can't kill him at least this way I don't have to listen to him whine."

He kissed her nose. "Yes, but how are we going to get him back to the Hyperion, as you said he weighs a stone. We also have the added problem of the sun's return." Buffy bent down and simply grabbed Angel's arm and leg, hoisting him over her shoulders. "Well that takes care of one problem. Stay here and I'll find us some transportation."

Fred, Gunn and Lorne talked about nothing but Cordy and Connor since leaving the two upstairs. Fred looked up and started running towards the front door with Gunn right behind her. "The sun, it's back up. Angel, I mean Angelus must have killed the Beast."

"Nope, that was little ole me."

They turned to see a tiny blonde carrying Angel as if he weighed nothing into the lobby from the side entrance. Wesley was there too, holding the door for her. Buffy grinned when she accidentally 'dropped' Angel on the floor. She heard a soft chuckle from behind her.

"Who are you? That isn't Angel, it's Angelus. Hurry we need to put him in the cage before he wakes up and ya know kills us," Fred babbled. She couldn't miss the heated looks that were passing between the pretty blonde and Wesley. She admitted that she was jealous. She loved Gunn but had always had a secret crush on Wesley. Fred stepped closer to her boyfriend who wrapped an arm around her.

"You don't have to worry Wesley had the witch doctor put a get out of jail free clause on the spell. If the jar broke then Angel's soul went back to his body, no muss no fuss. By the way, I'm Buffy and you must be Fred, Gunn and Lorne. Wesley told me all about you."

"You're that Slayer chick. Aren't you kinda on the short side to be Wonder Woman?"

"Good things come in small packages, right Fred." Buffy winked at the slender brunette.

"Darn tootin." She elbowed Gunn in the ribs. He hadn't stopped staring at Buffy since she walked in carrying Angel.

"I don't even need my powers to read you aura, shortcake. You have the whole package don't you? I never thought it would happen."

They stopped talking when they heard a groan from Angel. "What hit me? BUFFY! Why did you hit me?"

She shrugged. "Had to make sure that you weren't Angelus pulling a fast one."

"Now that Angel is back maybe things will finally get back to normal around here," Gunn sighed. He was tired of the roller coaster they had been on, it was bad enough fighting demons but when the demons were your friends it sucked.

"I don't think I would go that far, Gunn." Cordelia walked down the stairs in a revealing black outfit that showed off her pregnancy, not to mention her other charms. Connor followed close on her heels. "Buffy, what are you doing here? Not that I'm not happy to see you, just surprised." She quickly covered her faux pa with a smile. Her hand went to her fully rounded belly.

"Is that a ...what the hell is that?" Gunn watched Cordy's belly ripple as if a creature was trying to claw its way free.

Connor proudly announced. "It's a baby, our baby." He saw his father still sitting on the floor looking up at him. A malicious gleam entered Connor's eyes as he continued.

Buffy ignored all this and moved to where Cordy now stood at the base of the stairs. "Congratulations Cordy. I remember when Mom was pregnant with Dawn. It was so cool feeling the baby move. Can I?" She stretched her hand towards the undulating mound of flesh.

"Of course, Buffy, I want everybody to be happy about the baby." When it arrives, it will rock this world.

"Where was she hiding that thing? She wasn't that big a little while ago was she?" Gunn asked in a stage whisper.

"I wasn't hiding anything. It was just with everything that was going on I didn't want to say anything." She glared at Gunn then onto the rest who couldn't take their eyes off her stomach.

Cordelia wasn't paying attention to Buffy, but Wesley and Angel were. They saw blue sparks shoot from her fingertips. Fred 'eeped' when the Slayer's hand slid straight into the seer's stomach. Connor shouted, running at Buffy who simply threw her leg up and back then straight into the side of his head. He crashed back onto the stairs, shaking his head in an effort to stop the ringing in his ears.

"Connor!" Angel yelled, getting up to check on his son.

"No, Angel look." The former Watcher pulled the re-ensouled vampire back down.

Buffy's hand smoothly slid into Cordelia's belly. The blue sparks spread out under the skin. The AI team watched the belly slowly start to flatten.

Before it could complete, Cordy's eyes turned a pure white. "Get your hands off me, bitch. You can't stop me, you don't have the power." It wasn't their friend's voice; it was something dark and evil.

Fred shuddered in Gunn's arms and Lorne grabbed his head. Angel recognized the voice from his time as Angelus.

"Why don't you come out here and see who has power and who doesn't?"

Buffy twisted her hand one last time, causing sparks to shoot from Cordy's skin. She removed her hand and the former Queen C's stomach lay flat and still. Cordy crumpled and Connor barely caught her before she hit the floor. He glared at Buffy with murder in his eyes when the Hyperion started to shake. Everyone tried to grab onto something to keep from falling, everyone but Buffy. Her eyes never left her former high school friend's body. She watched the evil slowly leech from the other woman.

It started to assemble in the air, quickly building in size. A huge head hung in the air with dripping teeth and red glowing eyes. "You dare to challenge me? I was here when man first crawled from the sludge to walk up right. I have always been and will always be."

"Yeah, I get it you're old, big deal. I told you last time, not gonna happen. You thought you could take a ride on the Queen C Express, no ticket required. Well, I'm here to kick you off this train."

"What can you do, a mere Slayer? I have destroyed hundreds of your kind." The voice boomed causing the windows to vibrate.

"You've never met a Slayer like me. Try this on for size." Buffy pushed all the power at her disposal out at the First. It created an even larger entity that somehow still looked like Buffy. It was twice as large as the First with streaks of blue lightning shooting out from its outermost edge. It opened its mouth to take a bite out of the much smaller entity.

"This isn't over, Slayer." The First dissipated.

"I know I'm going to die. You are the biggest bad there is."

"Now that's what I'm talking about. How come we didn't have her on our team all along?" Gunn grinned. This chick is awesome, she totally kicks ass.

"Wasn't invited to the party, something about I don't understand the work you are doing here or some other bullshit." She walked over to Cordy, but Connor held her and tried to Buffy from her. "Relax, Angel Jr., I just want to make sure that the toxic stuff in her system is gone. I'm sorry you thought it was a real baby, but it wasn't. From what Wes told me, Cordy got hijacked to a higher plane, so she didn't have a body. Well, the First doesn't either, whatever allowed her to come back opened the door for it to hitch a ride."

Cordelia groaned while her hands rubbed her temples. "What hit me, a bus?"

"What's the last thing you remember?" Angel asked.

She looked at him, then turned to see who was holding her - Connor. She started shaking when the memories rushed back to her, she felt embarrassed then angry. How could her 'friends' not know that something was wrong? Cordy jumped to her feet and marched over to Angel. He smiled at her, and then she slapped him.

"What are you deficient? Have we ever been more than friends since we started working together? I was involved with a wonderful man who gave up his whole world to find me and you thought poof all the sudden I'm madly in love with you. You just lost the love of your life and suddenly we are meant to be together, I thought you people were supposed to be smart. Not to mention, you thought I would sleep with someone who I helped care for as a baby. I mean Dr. Phil, hello." She rounded on Fred and Lorne. "And you two, with your Moira and Kyrumption crap, this is not Pylea. I'm a seer, say it with me people SEER. Yes, I was learning how to defend myself, but that was to keep some demon from deciding I would make a great snack. I mean do you have any idea how many outfits I've ruined trying to get out demon goo?" Cordelia was breathing hard, pacing back and forth in front of her friends.

Buffy saw Connor's face when he ducked out the patio door and went to catch up with him before he ran off. "It doesn't help you know, running I mean. Whatever you run from, it just follows you. You got a crap deal kid but I could use your help. Unless, you want to go brood somewhere like your father."

He looked at the tiny golden woman in wonder. No one ever treated him as if he had an actual brain in his head. "What do you need my help with? You seem pretty powerful to me."

"Funny thing about power, you have to learn when to use it and when to ask for help. Tomorrow morning, Wesley and I are heading back to the Hellmouth. There are lots of things to pummel, not to mention teen-age girls who are potential Slayers, a key, a Watcher, a witch, an ex-vengeance demon, a carpenter, a nerd and another vampire with a soul. You should feel right at home. It's your decision but fun should be had by all."

Wesley stepped outside tired of listening to Cordelia scold everyone and them just standing there taking it. He overheard Buffy and Connor's conversation and couldn't stop his throaty chuckle at her choice of words.

She flashed him a smile over her shoulder then gave him a wink. "Do you know where Wesley lives?" He nodded his head, captivated by her sunny smile. "Good, if you want to go with then just show up around 10:00 and we'll motor to good ole Sunnyhell." Buffy walked over to Wesley with a gleam in her green eyes. "Now, Mr. Wyndam Pryce, I do believe we still have that matter to take care of, I'm ready, if you are." Her voice caused an instant response in his body.

Connor felt an uncomfortable tightness in his own jeans. One thing he knew for sure, beautiful or not the Cordy inside, who he still heard talking, wasn't someone he wanted to be around right now - if ever. He watched Buffy and Wesley walk away and couldn't help but admire the view of her leather-clad rear.

"Son, are you out here?" Angel stepped outside, staying safely in the shadows. He swore he saw Connor and Buffy come this way. Buffy, no he couldn't think about her now, he had to concentrate on his son.

"What do you want, Angel?" Connor stepped further into the sunlight where his father couldn't get to him.

"I wanted to make sure that you were okay, son. We were all surprised by what has happened."

"When they took your soul, you called her name - Buffy. I thought you loved Cordelia. What's she to you?"

"Everything," Angel whispered forgetting about Connor's enhanced hearing. "We were involved when i used to live in Sunnydale several years ago. I haven't seen her in years." Even as he said the words, Angel knew he lied. He remembered the day he turned back, her mother's funeral and that fateful last meeting. It was what sent him rushing back to Cordy.

"She's very beautiful. I once thought that Cordelia was the most beautiful woman that I'd ever seen, but not so much now."

Angel bristled at Connor's tone. "She's going back to Sunnydale. Our lives don't usually cross. Since your home's in LA, I doubt you'll see her again.

"I don't have a home remember, you kicked me out. Anyway, Buffy invited me to go with her and I've decided to accept."

He ran from the courtyard before Angel finished processing his words. "CONNOR!" The Hyperion's windows rattled causing the others to run outside to see what had happened.

"What's up, Angel? How many are there?" Gunn had his favorite battle-ax as he searched for any sign of danger.

"Connor's going back to Sunnydale with Buffy. I couldn't stop him since the sun's back. Gunn, go to his apartment, maybe he went there. Fred, try to reach Wesley, he should know where she's staying." Angel barked orders and everyone jumped to obey.

Fred had a good idea where Buffy was, but didn't see it was her place to tell him. She used to think him devoted to Cordelia, then Gwen came along, and Gunn told her about several others as well. He was too fickle for her taste and deserved to find out about his ex lover and former friend on his own.

"Angelcakes, there aren't any phones, not yet anyway." Lorne's red eyes squinted as he glanced his friend's way. The vampire's aura remained unbalanced. He hoped it was residual from Angelus that would dissipate quickly. Goodness knows, they've had enough trouble to contend with lately.

"Damn it! She had no right inviting him to Sunnydale. He's just a boy."

"Not to bring back bad memories, and can I say 'ewe' one more time, but Connor isn't a boy. He hasn't been since he fought his way out of Quar Toth. Is it that you don't want him to fall for her, or the other way around? Your Buffy-face is showing, mister. If you push too much, you'll lose him. Angel, I'm your friend and I've always told you the truth, well when I'm not possessed anyways." Cordy place a hand on Angel's arm, but he shrugged it off and walked away. "Oh, great, now he's going to do the big broody thing, which I've got to tell you really gotten old."

"Cordy, leave him alone." Lorne sternly ordered the seer. She raised an eyebrow at his tone. "I've a feeling the fall out isn't over. Give Angel a chance to wrap his head around all this, so he has a hope of surviving the rest."

"What do you know, Lorne? Can you read people again?" Fred asked, quietly.

"I'm not back to full power, yet. When that little golden sprinkle beat whatever was holding Cordy, they started snapping again."

Buffy and Wesley fell through his apartment's doorway, pulling each other's clothes free and kissing whatever they could reach. Wrapping his arms around her and standing up, he headed toward the bedroom. Buffy's legs wrapped around him, her hips moving frantically against his hardness while she sucked on his earlobe and told him what she planned to suck on next. His felt her words down to his toes and his knees almost buckled. He dropped her on the bed, causing her to laugh. She pulled him down by his half-opened shirt, ripping it open the rest of the way.

"You're a naughty boy. Who would've ever thunk it."

She popped his pant's snap, pulling him down so she could straddle his lap. Wesley's large hands started doing some teasing of their own. She lifted her hips to pull his pants down where he kicked them across the room.

"Oh my." She gave a breathy sigh. Her eyes wide with wonder.

"I assume you approve, Miss Summers."

"I've heard of them but never seen one before; it's a Prince Edward or something right?"

"Prince Al...bert!" Wesley barely choked out the words.

Her innocent question had distracted him while she replaced her warm body with her mouth. Her hot mouth captured the tip and her tongue moved the bar back and forth. She hummed as she worked her way down his length. Buffy relaxed her jaw, determined to savor every possible inch. He was long, but not too large, rather like his build. Her head moved faster and faster, then she stopped with an evil smile.

"You don't want to finish too soon, do you? I've been waiting for this since I saw you standing at the door. Sorry about your scar, bad, but have to tell you, the affect is delish. Makes me feel tingly in the nicest places." Buffy took his hand and placed it over her core, pushing a finger inside. "Feel that, that's what you caused the moment I saw you. Now, I suggest that you take that big, hard dick and your Prince Wesley and let me see how it feels from the inside."

Wesley pulled her up to him, flipped her over and smoothly slid inside her. They gasped, then smiled at each other. Her inner walls clamped down around him and he swore his eyes were going to cross. He moved at a leisurely pace, taking long smooth strokes, pulling all the way out to the tip before sliding back to where he wanted to be the most. Buffy moaned as the smooth little beads on the ends of the bar seemed to hit every nerve ending along the way of her already over sensitive channel. She closed her eyes and just enjoyed the act of having sex with someone she was attracted to, knew and had no reason to hide or feel guilty about being with. It was a novel feeling and one she planned to explore thoroughly.
